Sorry Brad, I don't do autographs, so I'm pretty much in your boots on this one. Is the item actually signed by all of those stars (assuming there's 100 of them) or is this a pre-printed poster with facsimile signatures, which is a nice, though obvi…

I hear you on the Bonanzle thing, I think the site is going to be pretty good for sales, but it may take a while.
In the mean time, I have found that it's GREAT for making contacts! It's kind of has the ability of Linked In, but in real time.

Hey Walt, thanks for having me. Kind of new to this whole Ning thing, so I've got to look around some.

No sales on Bonanzle since my early Bonanza--note: my items currently set up where I have to manually finalize purchase, they move too quick on eBay for me to keep up until Bonanzle starts showing me some more substantial sales. Also having a very hard time completing a second eBay-import through Bonanzle. 6 attempts in 2 weeks so far and the only advice is to keep trying. So I can see them approaching some potential problems of scale, but on the whole I'm still very positive about the site, experience and the guys running it.

Thanks,Cliff

Excellent Coverage of Bonanzle on Businessweek.com

Great article, "Hey eBay, Say Hello to Bonanzle," by Douglas MacMillan over on Businessweek.com, which also prominently features our own Auctionwally.

Major exposure, my first impression being that this should at least get more isolated eBay sellers listening and/or make them aware of Bonanzle. You'd think they'd have to be living in a cave not to know already, however online selling can be so isolated tha… Continue

Excited, someone contacted me with some movie cards I hadn't seen before!

I thought this was pretty cool. Someone wrote me looking for information about Kromo Gravure movie cards -- these are black & white trading cards which were issued in various boxed sets of 50 in the late teens (more specifically likely about 1917). Over the past 8 years I've handled several of these and I think I've put together the best available checklists for them.

I'd thought I'd handled each of the boxed sets multiple times and cataloged them on my site as sets 1,2,3 -- which are sets… Continue

Collectibles: Condition is King, Sometimes Cheap Is Just Cheap

(Note: I'd posted something similar to this on my twitwall this morning, but it seems much more appropriate over here, so I spruced it up some for the AW Network).

I listed 19 similar items on eBay yesterday (Dixie Premium Photos), all from similar sets. 15 of them start at $9.99, 2 at $7.99, 2 at $3.99.

Guess which 4 received bids overnight?

Now what I'm referring to is all the same bidder, and I say this with a grain of salt because I am thankful for their bids...but at the same time I'm se… Continue
